We are working with a highly reputable international development consultancy based in Oxford who cover a broad range of expertise within the sector.

The organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced delivery focused Operations Manager to provide support to three areas within a business unit focusing on research development, programmes and thought leadership. This is a new role within the organisation, its purpose is to strengthen productivity, efficiency and quality.The role does include some international travel however, as this is predominantly an internal role it is important for the post holder to be present on site. There can be some flexibility offered to work from home but it is important to build relationships internally and be a familiar face within the business.

The Operations Manager will support the on-going development of the key areas mentioned within the business unit, focusing on strategic planning process and improvements on projects. The Operations Manager will support the internal operations on team performance, interaction and strategy.

The ideal person will possess thought leadership qualities, share thinking and learning across the organisation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people is important.

The Operations Manager will also be responsible for budgets and finances, performance frameworks and objections, executing strategic work plans in place and implementing project ideas.
