As a Chartered Member of the RTPI, you will have An RTPI accredited Honors Degree and/or Diploma or Masters Qualification, you will use this experience to successfully deliver planning applications and permissions. While taking a broad area of responsibility for all aspects of the development process including planning policy and appraisal work, land promotion, provision of planning consultancy services along with detailed development management and delivery.
As a Planning consultant / Senior Planning Consultant you will be Providing planning consultancy services to public, private and third party sector clients. This will involve taking the lead on planning applications, site promotions and appeals as well as managing the financial aspect such as invoicing, budgets and contract specific financial data.
Drawing on your 2 -5 years' worth of experience within the planning sector you will be well placed to undertake site appraisals, and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels. You will be working closely with our other Planners, and help manage and deliver new projects as part of the business planned growth.
Your Experience will lead itself to demonstrating your well-rounded knowledge of the planning system, and experience gained in the commercial, residential, energy and leisure sectors.
Co-ordinating and preparing planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders and local communities will be second nature to you.
As this role will require you to attend site visits to sometimes rural locations that are difficult to travel to and not accessible via public transport, you will need to hold a Full clean driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle.
