Planning Director- Town Planning

Location: Cardiff/Wales

A leading consultancy due to demand of business is looking to recruit a Town Planning professional to be a 'work'winner' and help to develop town planning within their established team. The successful candidate will be developing their client base in Wales.

Job role

You will be a proven technical expert and business leader you'll apply your knowledge and know-how in order to deliver continuous improvement, development and growth.

You will forge a strong relationship with every client and effectively respond to changing markets to provide an innovative and robust consultancy service to my clients existing and expanding client base.

You will lead diverse projects that impress a broad range of clients across multiple sectors.

You will proactively develop with the client base in the Wales region and the business profile of Cardiff office.

Leading the management of a client portfolio, you'll always go the extra step. This means you'll proactively develop the client base and the business profile of the Cardiff office.

You will maintain and develop long standing relationships with clients in South Wales and beyond. As an inspirational leader you'll motivate, develop and manage the performance of others as well as facilitate the professional and personal
development of staff.

In turn you'll support and develop a culture of cross-discipline working within the region, whilst externally developing strategic alliances within other important professional practices.

About You

You will have recognised project management experience, you'll bring to the role sound knowledge and proven experience in the field of town planning, with relevant industry experience at a senior level.

You've led large or complex planning projects in residential planning markets, as well as having knowledge of other sectors such as energy and infrastructure planning if possible.

As both leader and mentor, your enthusiastic, flexible approach equips
you to support diverse teams in line with changing priorities.

As a member of a professional body, such as RTPI, you will also have appeared as an expert witness at Public Inquiries and Hearings.
