Allen & York have been appointed to recruit for a Senior/Principal Consultant to join a dynamic global acoustics team. The role will be based in the London office.

As a team player with strong technical skills and commercial aptitude you will deliver a great client experience, help develop the business, manage medium to large projects and help to develop other members of the team.

Being an integral part of a multi-disciplinary and global organisation, there will be excellent opportunities for professional development and for involvement in many high profile projects. Given their acoustic presence in North America, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Australia - along with future planned expansion into South Africa, there are also great international opportunities for the right individual.

A typical week would include:

Noise and vibration assessments for large masterplan schemes (input into EIA chapters)

DMRB assessments

CRN and CRTN assessments

Section 61 assessments

NPPF planning assessments

Candidate Profile

We'd love to hear from you if have:

Verifiable track record of excellent, proactive and effective client delivery & communication.

Good aptitude and ability to forge strong relationships with clients and colleagues and should have a verifiable track record in acoustic consultancy.

Candidates should be able to technically and financially manage, organise and deliver acoustic projects in addition to mentoring more junior members of staff

A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Noise/Acoustics/Vibration

Solid experience in the world of Acoustic Consulting
