An award winning UK based consultancy is looking for talented professionals to expand their team. As part of their growth they are looking for a Principal Air Quality consultant to lead their air quality projects and build on existing client relationships and develop new ones. They have a number of key offices in the North, Midlands and South UK and are flexible within which office the successful consultant can be based.

Requirements

 The successful Principal Air Quality Consultant will either current be a principal or will be an established senior looking for the next step. You will have worked successfully in this field for at least 10 years and have a full understanding of the planning and EIA process. In addition you will have:

• A detailed knowledge of standards and guidelines
• Air quality monitoring, assessment and data analysis experience
• Odour survey experience (would be an advantage)
• Knowledge of the standard methodologies for assessment of roads, industrial and dust emissions
• Commercial awareness and business development skills
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Membership of the Institute of Air Quality Management / Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment
• A full driving licence

Responsibilities

The successful Principal Air Quality Consultant will be required to:

• Influence strategy for projects and initiatives
• Liaise with existing clients and develop new client relationships
• Engage with stakeholders
• Manage and review the technical components for EIA chapters and assessments, fee proposals and surveys
