Principal Landscape Architect- Birmingham
My client is a seeking a Principal Landscape Architect to be based in their West Midlands office. This is an exciting role to be involved in providing solutions for a range of developments across infrastructure, urban regeneration, highways and rail projects.
Key skills you will have are:
BA (Hons) Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent, plus Post Graduate Diploma or Masters Degree
Chartered Status with the Landscape Institute or nearing completion of P2C process
Proven experience and technical capability gained within a professional consultancy or local authority environment
Experience in the use of Autodesk, KeyScape and Adobe design suites. Plus experienced in the use and application of BIM, GIS and or 3D modelling software such as 3D Studio Max/Rhino.
Sound knowledge of relevant industry legislation, health and safety/CDM regulations, contracts and tendering procedures
Experience of environmental impact and character assessment (LVIA); and/or landscape design - including the production of detailed planting plans, schedules and specifications, hard landscape, masterplanning and environmental mitigation projects; as well as site supervision during implementation
Experience of applying current design standards, guidance and good working practices; a full UK driving licence.
