Principal Landscape Architect

As a Principal Landscape Architect this is your chance to join an award-winning team of landscape and urban designers based in Glasgow's attractive West End.
Ideally you will have a Landscape Institute Accredited Bachelor's degree, Diploma and/or Masters degree, and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. You will have an expanding portfolio of challenging and high-profile projects including residential masterplanning, university campuses, parks projects and urban design work. In this role you will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of sought-after projects with prestigious clients, working with Directors with strong reputations in the industry and gaining exposure to different specialist fields.
AS a Principal Landscape Architect you will work on design projects that are primarily UK-focussed, and the client respects the need of staff to balance their home and working lives.
For the right candidate flexible working arrangements for this role, including part time working, flexible start/finish times and homeworking.
In this role, your organised and efficient approach to completing work within tight deadlines, and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients, while often working within multidisciplinary teams will allow you to use your excellent oral and written communication skills to plan and structure reports well and convey information in a clear and concise manner. A good graphical hand and an awareness of landscape design skills would be an advantage.
An Understanding or knowledge of, or interest in learning, relevant software packages including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign etc.), SketchUp would be advantageous to you in this roles as a Senior Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner
In return you will receive a competitive salary ranging: £32,000 - £37,000 FTE dependent on experience, Pension Scheme, and annual leave allowance.
