Our client is a multinational conglomerate, that produces commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems. They are seeking to recruit a Project Assistant/Documents Controller in Diegem in Belgium.
The project Document Controller supports the Project Team within the guidelines established by the Project Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the generation, transmittal, collation and archiving of all Project documentation in accordance with Document Control processes and procedures, and project specifications, including the storage of documents
- Ensure a comprehensive and accurate record is kept of all Project official documentation
- Coordinate and work with other similar skilled Project Document Controllers across the project operations function to ensure consistency of training, process, and enforcement of document control procedures
- Supports the Project Team within the guidelines established by the Project Manager
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Fluency or upper intermediate level in French
- Degree in engineering
- Minimum 1 year experience in administration and document control for a large project
- Experience of preparing documents, specifications, and drawings for issue
- Experience in a large project/unstructured/changing environment would be a distinct advantage
- Strong ability to self-motivate and communicate effectively with team members as well as external companies
- Experienced at working in a customer facing environment
- Attentive to detail and patient when resolving requirements from different sources
- Able to integrate into a team and work on own initiatives
- Computer literate, Microsoft excel/ word/ access (not essential)/acrobat
- Able to take on new technologies
- Working in a site environment
