Are you a Reliability Engineer providing engineering expertise to Generation teams maximising generation and profit for onshore wind asset owners ensuring the efficient operation of power plants?
Then this role is for you! Analyse operational data, advising on best practise for the company and its clients, proposing methods for reducing lost production, identifying performance improvement opportunities & delivering solutions that are robust, long term, timely & cost-effective for asset owners.
Using your Degree qualified mechanical or electrical engineering and good understanding of typical failure modes and troubleshooting procedures, root cause analysis (RCA) and FMEA. You will provide technical and engineering support to operational wind farm management teams.
You will be skilled in creating, managing and improving engineering models to analyse operational data, accurately report on performance and detect changes in behaviour of the operating assets.
Your detailed knowledge of wind turbine design, including design for reliability, will support your ability to diagnose and propose solutions for performance issues with the generating plant and participate in major component failure investigations.
The role requires a strong attention to detail and analytical skills - previous experience in data mining and programming in languages such as Python, VBA, Matlab, R would be preferable.
Research, evaluate & recommend methods to improve performance & reliability of generation.
