The role of Apprentice Resourcing Consultant requires a dynamic and proactive approach to select the candidates that are likely to lead to placements and present their profile to the most relevant companies, introducing both the candidate and Allen & York to new and reactivated clients. Generating interviews and job leads to then pass to the relevant Recruitment Consultants.

The role of a Recruitment Resourcer requires a commercial and often entrepreneurial approach and provides the opportunity for reward and good earning potential. It underpins the success and continued growth of a our business through its focus on:

Onn completion of this programme the you will have achieved the following qualifications:

Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing - Achieved by completing 7 assignments. You can use the letters CertRR after your name once achieved.

This confirms that the learner has satisfied all the criteria of the standard and possesses all the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of an effective Recruitment Resourcer. Pursuing this qualification supports high performance at work through a blended learning programme of engaging online learning, assessment and individual coaching. It's focused on supporting individuals to achieve in recruitment and progress towards more senior roles and, if it supports their chosen career progression, you will also have the opportunity to continue your studies with the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Recruitment Consultancy.


This role requires careful, smart and quick organization skills to respond to candidates that are actively available and match them with live vacancies and potential clients.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to gather information and build rapport with the candidate is required, with the aim of exclusively representing that candidate.


  • Identify new HDC (high demand candidates) that fit with Candidate Projects outlined by the Research Manager by reviewing every candidate that comes into the business each day (circa 50) through: Web Registrations/Updates, applications, Research sourcing on LinkedIn and job board and the Resourcing Consultant sourcing their own candidates.

  • Review and then approach HDC candidates to establish their job requirements.

  • Research and start to build lists of companies that the candidate's profile can be represented to. Ideally companies with live vacancies that match the candidates requirements.

  • Source the correct contact details at each client and speck the candidate profiles to the client, after gaining consent from the candidate.

  • Obtain a job lead or further information from the client and pass the lead to the Recruitment Consultant.
