We are recruiting a newly created role for a Health & Safety Manager to work within the transport / logistics sector based in central London with a leading employer.
You will be involved with all aspects of safety for numerous sites in the South region, with responsibility for external contractors and relationships, permitting and construction projects as well as creating and maintaining effective and strong working relationships with employees, contractors and suppliers.
As Health & Safety Manager you will travel the southern region undertaking site visits to ensure compliance and standards are met continually and take action as required.
The successful candidate will need significant experience within health and safety ideally with a facilities or infrastructure background gained within a large multi-site organisation.
- Completed Nebosh or NVQ equivalent.
- IOSH accreditation.
- Self-motivation and good planning skills.
- Lead with best practice and promote a safe working culture.
