Reporting to the Head of Safety & Environment, this role will primarily help deliver safety to prevent accidents and incidents as well raising employees and contractors' awareness of safety throughout the business function.
Key accountabilities for this role are supporting contractor control and working at height regulations, supporting project and facilities teams, ensuring that a robust risk assessment programme is in place as well ensuring strong levels of compliance.
Included in this role and key to success will be the support of a safety culture change program throughout the business. This role will influence, educate and inspire to affect a cultural and attitude change throughout the organisation.
The position will involve travel across sites throughout London and the South East and candidates should be flexible as required.
It is expected that candidates will be NEBOSH Certificate qualified and have demonstrable experience of working across a multi-site, high risk environment. It would be advantageous if candidates have experience working in a unionised or regulatory setting.
