Senior/Principal Ecologist - Ornithologist (UK Wide Role)
Remote working a possibility, but with travel throughout the UK

Our client is looking for a talented Senior/Principal Ornithologist to join their well established Ecology team, as they start the next exciting phase of their growth. Their national team has doubled in size over the last five years and we continue to go from strength to strength, and they have a significant amount of project work across a variety of sectors including residential, energy, defense and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel across the UK to undertake fieldwork at various locations, and are focused on recruiting the best ecologists, so are happy to discuss flexible working patterns, including part-time or fixed-term contracts, for the right candidate.
EXPERIENCE
We are looking for an ecologist who has experience of projects across a diversity of sectors, with the confidence to liaise with clients & stakeholders and a desire to manage & mentor other members of the team.
Project management and the ability to deliver multiple projects to high client expectations within fixed deadlines is an essential requirement of the role.
Candidates keen to mentor junior staff are highly desirable, as well those who are proactive at collaborating, have good financial awareness and able efficiently review technical reports
REQUIREMENTS:
A relevant degree or previous consultancy experience
Full driving license
Membership of (or eligibility to join) CIEEM and
Legal entitlement to live work in the UK is essential
