Associate / Senior Level Project Manager - London

This is your chance to work for an interdisciplinary practice, that offer a full range of design and building services including master-planning, urban design, landscape, planning, interior design and development consultancy.
Based in the London Office within the development consultancy team, you will have the opportunity to work for a business who has over 50 years' experience in the market and have established an exemplary track record in the design and delivery of homes and places of varying scale, complexity and diversity.
You will be working under the direction of a member of the Development Consultancy team or as part of a project group, to produce work and/or technical information in accordance with an agreed programme of work.
As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with maintaining technical and design standards in line with studio policy as well as being aware of current technical developments and legislation and implementing these as required.
You will insure adherence to the practices quality assurance procedures, by reporting regularly on project progress along with communicating any potential technical or design problems to your direct line manager, it is expected this will be achieved in part by carrying out site visits and attending site and project team meetings as and when necessary.
Drawing on your understanding of the London/South East RP housing market, you will be responsible for delivering a programme of new build construction projects within agreed profitability and resource constraints all in accordance with the individually agreed scope of services for each project.
Proactively identifying opportunities for new projects, in conjuncture with developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior staff for each client, while regularly reviewing performance delivery with the clients and identifying opportunities for improvement will all be part and parcel of this role, along with proactively monitoring each project and reporting on any potential risks to project profitability, service delivery and client deadlines/targets.
The duties of the Project Manager may require you to undertake the duties of an Employers Agent from time to time so previous knowledge of the duties of a typical Employer Agent (i.e. Excellent understanding of JCT D&B and Development Agreement contract forms and a good understanding of the social housing sector as well as delivering pre-and post-contract services across several social housing projects in London and the South East of England) will benefit you in this role.
If you have Experience of working on the contractor side this would be an advantage but is not essential for this role. MRICS would also be beneficial in this role.
