Are you a believer in regeneration and building a better world? Our client is a renowned innovative multidisciplinary consultancy and they want to make a difference to the built environment. As part of their plan they have openings for SHE Managers and Senior SHE Advisors to work in the London and South East where they have numerous large-scale projects and a healthy pipeline of future work.
You will be involved in all stages of construction projects and will work closely with other areas of the business to ensure strategy, processes and systems are maintained and developed. You will support and advise on areas including geotechnical, remediation, hydrogeology, ecology and archaeology. Particularly ensuring compliance with regulations including CDM, SHE plans, CPP, RAMS and work closely with Principal Designers and Contractors.
As a role model you will actively promote a positive safety-first culture. Whether through delivery of SH&E training or providing data for SHE performance indicators, your role is pivotal and will involve SH&E audits, investigations and root cause analysis.
To be successful, firstly you will have worked in a SHE Advisory or Manager role for a main contractor or consultancy, where you will have worked on high profile construction / remediation projects.
Secondly, Nebosh Construction certification is essential, along with IOSH status working towards Chartership. Other criteria include a commercial mindset combined with project management capabilities and having the ability to communicate and interact with ease, encourage and sway others.
