Senior / Principal Landscape Architect

As a Senior / Principal Landscape Architect you will pride yourself on being at the forefront of innovative thinking, successfully resolving even the most complex of issues. You may be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards Chartership, should you not yet be Chartered, this role will enable you to gain the breadth and variety of experience required to complete the Landscape Institute Pathway to Chartership (P2C).
In this role, your organised and efficient approach to completing work within tight deadlines, and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients, while often working within multidisciplinary teams will allow you to use your excellent oral and written communication skills to plan and structure reports well and convey information in a clear and concise manner. A good graphical hand and an awareness of landscape design skills would be an advantage, but is not essential.
An Understanding or knowledge of, or interest in learning, relevant software packages including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign etc.), SketchUp would be advantageous to you in this roles as a Senior Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner
As Senior Consultant Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner, you will contribute to a variety of projects alongside experts in a range of fields including: Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and associated mitigation/ design, Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) and sensitivity/ capacity studies, Assessment and management of protected landscapes, Planning for future landscapes and responding to climate change, Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA) and view management strategies, Landscape design, mitigation and Masterplanning.
The post will be based in the London office (in Waterloo) and you will have extensive opportunities to undertake landscape fieldwork across the UK. Therefore, A driving licence and willingness to undertake fieldwork is essential.
