Your experience of working with refugees and host communities will be essential, in addition to your sound understanding of camps and Internationally Displaced People environments. You'll have an excellent knowledge of humanitarian energy and energy in displaced environments and your work will be instrumental in consolidating the company's position in the market. You'll have expertise in leading advocacy activities also so exposure to this will put you in a good position.
Do you enjoy public speaking? Fab, as part of your role will be to present to audiences at conferences and events and collaborate with a number of partner organisations to highlight the agenda on a global scale.
Based in the Midlands but with a flexible working policy meaning you wouldn't necessarily have to live in the Midlands, you'll be travelling up to 8 weeks a year and your second language would come in handy (although it's not essential).
You'll be an excellent communicator in English (both written and oral) and you'll be a good listener and be able to command the situation and lead calmly from the front. You'll also have a head for numbers so that you can manage financial aspects of projects.
