My client is a leading consultancy and they have an exciting opportunity for appoint a SHE Advisor. There vision is to deliver an effective Health and Safety advisory service to a global pharmaceutical company to the highest level of professional standards, advising and assisting a project team to enable them to discharge their accountabilities and responsibilities.
You will be supporting the build, transition and various engineering and environmental challenges for a new world class Research & Development centre based in Cambridge.
You will provide day to day SHE scientific advice, supporting the FM project teams for their site in Cambridge. This role provides scientific SHE support for the contractor, the build team and transition team so scientific SHE knowledge is a must.
Due to the wide variety of responsibilities, you will have a known variable workload with the governance structure in place, there is a need for business continuity, succession planning, consistency and input of laboratory scientific knowledge.
* Lead on SHE advice for stakeholders to support safe science.
* Contractor Management.
* Developing day to day SHE tasks e.g:
o Developing Operating procedures.
o SHE training.
o Manage risk registers.
o Carry out management for scientific processes.
* Develop SHE Emergency Response Plans.
* Security, transport, integration with a new build and public safety SHE support (+BCP).
* Produce and manage PEEPS - emergency evacuation plans in place to support safe science.
