Are you a sustainability professional? Do you have experience working in the construction sector? Are you looking for a role in London? If so, please read on...
Joining an established sustainability team where sustainability is integrated throughout the entire process, you will be able to put your communication skills to the test, working with the project teams right from the land acquisition through to sales and customer service. Your training and educational skills will also be utilised, as you'll be frequently visiting construction sites to assess compliance with legislation, identifying areas of non conformance and delivering tool box training to a range of people, who are not environmentally trained.
Are you innovative and curious? Previous experience of managing waste on sites and thinking of new ways of dealing with this will be highly beneficial, even down to liaising with the suppliers to find alternatives. Your ability to look at the economic and social impacts of the company's activities is also important and forms part of the strategy for the Group. Your knowledge and experience of ISO 14001 and conducting audits will also be highly beneficial and if you have had exposure to BREEAM and other building certification schemes, that will put you in a good position.
You'll be working in line with the Group's sustainability strategy, driving best practice and attending meetings to promote the objectives and inform of progress. To this end, your analytical and report writing skills will be put to good use, as will an outgoing and confident attitude.
Live in London and happy to travel? Fantastic, as your office base is in West London and you'll be responsible for four or five sites in and around the M25.
