A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing company of engineers and work on a range of large infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Working alongside the Sustainability Director, your experience of liaising with engineers to advise on sustainability issues at the design stage predominantly and ensure their successful implementation as projects progress will be invaluable.

You'll have worked on large linear infrastructure projects previously (road and rail) and other building projects and be confident liaising with Project Directors and site teams, delivering training and presentations and driving best practice. As such, your communication skills will be strong, as will your organisational skills as you'll be working on a number of projects simultaneously. In addition, you will have a degree in a relevant subject and ideally a Masters qualification, and if you have a BREEAM assessor qualification and/or are chartered, this will be advantageous. Experience of carbon analysis would be really useful and strong data analysis in general. You will most likely be working for a civil engineering consultancy but you could equally come from a construction background and you'll be based in their SE office ideally.

This newly created role is due to the fact that the business is growing, not just in the UK but overseas as well and they have a strong and secure pipeline of work for the remainder of this year and in to 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to really add value to the projects, from a socio-economic perspective as well as environmental and work with the Director to implement not only the sustainability strategy but policies and procedures as well. You'll be joining a culture of openness and inclusion where your ideas and contributions are welcome and actively encouraged and there are opportunities for training and development also.

A competitive salary and good benefits package is on offer to the right candidate so if you can do all the above and would like to find out more about this super organisation, call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207.
