This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading not for profit social housing organisations as a Sustainability Manager, supporting the Head of Sustainability in delivering the climate strategy.
The role
You will largely be responsible for delivering and maintaining the sustainability strategy, developing and monitoring sustainability metrics, and analysing various sustainability data to present to a range of stakeholders. Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting in the publication of the SECR and ESG report
- Work towards carbon and other environmental targets, providing guidance and identifying opportunities for improvements
- Contribute to the customer engagement and communication strategy, as well as assisting in the development of a community investment strategy
About you:
- Experience in the housing or built environment sector
- Experience delivering a corporate sustainability strategy
- Knowledgeable on relevant sustainability reporting standards and legislation
- Relevant environmental degree and/or membership of relevant professional body e.g. IEMA, RICS
- Managerial experience, as you will be managing a team of more junior officers
