Based in Central London, you'll have extensive experience of working on a range of building projects such as residential, commercial and mixed use, implementing sustainability initiatives and coming up with innovative solutions to problems. So, you'll think outside the box, never take no for an answer and be able to think of new ways of doing things and influencing those around you. As such, your communication skills will be excellent, adapting your language to relevant audiences and engaging with non-sustainability professionals on site to educate and increase awareness.
You will be looking after a range of issues including waste, water, energy/carbon, responsible materials sourcing and sustainable building certifications. You'll be responsible for reporting against KPI's, ensuring environmental compliance in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and providing training to non-sustainability professionals. In addition, you'll represent the company at events, be a positive role model for the business and support your colleagues by sharing best practice.
Given the nature of the projects, you'll be full of energy, ideas and solutions focused, liaising with clients as well as project teams and occasionally jumping from one project to another. Any green building assessor qualifications would be advantageous, in addition to a relevant degree and at least 6 years' experience working in a sustainability role within the construction sector managing a range of projects.
A competitive salary and package is on offer to the right candidate, working on some really meaty projects within a large, established Team but the real bonus is to join a company who are leading the way when it comes to sustainability innovation for buildings and driving net zero carbon initiatives.
So call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207 to find out more about this fantastic opportunity for someone who's perhaps feeling disillusioned in their current role or wants to join a highly successful Team.
