Sustainability Manager – West Sussex The team at BA Holidays take care over every detail of their outstanding service. A new role has been created to ensure sustainability is at the heart of the business and considered with the same rigour and vigour that underpins the many functions that deliver superb travel services. If you have the experience of developing and driving strategic sustainability programmes for business combined with the customer focused mindset that a B2C business demands, this could be the next role in your career. You will work with a brand known for innovation and quality and help raise sustainability to new heights in the travel sector. Key Accountabilities include:
A key element of the role is the ability to operate with multiple stakeholders and work with hundreds of external business partners, through existing business channels and by developing key relationships. BA Holidays’ reach extends to many service delivery partners around the world, so an organised and collaborative approach will be required to deliver sustainability improvements. You will work in tandem with British Airways sustainability function and feed into the wider group strategy but with the latitude required to develop a bespoke programme suited to the BA Holidays business and business partners. Based at BA Holidays’ offices at Gatwick the role will typically include part week in office with hybrid working. Some in person meetings at BA head office near Heathrow will likely also be a requirement. Therefore, proximity to West Sussex is required depending on willingness to travel.
