Ranked as one of the top vendors in the ESG and sustainability space, you will be joining a dynamic Team and joining a business who have been established for over 120 years and use your passion and enthusiasm for the sustainability sector to engage with businesses.

Sitting in their New Business Team and covering Western Europe, my client is looking for an experienced sustainability consultant who has a background in the carbon space (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and a sound technical knowledge of supply chains and other sustainability disciplines, excellent project management and relationship building skills and the ability to close deals with corporate businesses, both large and small. You will have relevant sector experience of ESG or CSR software and if you don't, you'll be interested and passionate about SaaS and sustainability. You will ideally have worked with software systems and/or procedures in the past and be able to tailor them to the specific needs of clients, through a consultative process.

You'll be responsible for identifying potential companies, making sure you engage with the relevant stakeholders (often senior managers), utilising your sustainability knowledge, following up on these calls/visits and scheduling presentations in. You'll be a real people person who enjoys the 360 degree sales process and you'll put people at ease and be able to work out what the needs are so that you can put together a bespoke package.

You'll have excellent presentation skills, both face to face and online and it goes without saying that your communication skills - both written and verbal - will be second to none. Also incredibly important is your ability to juggle a large number of tasks at any one time.

This is a remote role with 100% home working and whilst at the moment travel is restricted and you'll conduct all meetings virtually, you will be required to do some travel when restrictions are lifted and visit client offices. To this end, you'll be comfortable working independently without direct supervision but you will engage with the rest of the New Business Team who are distributed throughout Europe so support is there if you need it.
