You could be the Lead Engineer on standardising global energy storage solutions to create a cost optimised, globally standard energy storage product. Select from technologies including - batteries, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, balance of systems and non-battery energy storage.
You will be involved in engineering analysis, component specification, parametric studies, and create then review drawings. You will find and audit suppliers, review supplier design proposals and finalise design packages.
As the Systems Engineer, you will have broad engineering knowledge covering electrical, mechanical, control and design for constructability. You will report to the Group Chief Engineer and work closely with their global counterparts and all stake holders across global markets. Standardise system solutions to develop life time cost-optimised energy storage solutions globally. Value engineer solutions to maximise efficiency and output.
Your experience will enable you to provide input and facilitate techno-economic analysis of system designs for market studies. Evaluate and record product technical risks including conducting FMEA/FMECA of design systems. Prepare standard technical and functional specifications and other engineering and construction documents.
You will be a creative problem solver and naturally identify lean processes and cost improvements by coordinating with other departments such as engineering, technical, procurement, operations and construction.
