Technical Coordinator with an M&E Bias - South East London - M&E Bias

In the role of Technical Coordinator you will be working on a major flagship scheme in the heart of East London taking the project forward from its current stage of masterplanning working in collaboration with the developer's range of in house professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the M&E sector, your main responsibilities as Technical Coordinator will be to work in association with the Technical Manager, Assisting with the monitoring and controlling of the Strategic Risk Register as well as securing all building control approvals, checking consultant's drawings & documents and providing comments on behalf of the business, along with issuing drawings and information for tendering and construction purposes.
Drawing on your previous experience in a similar role you will ensure enquiries and applications go to statutory service companies and local authorities in a timely manner. It is expected that you liaise with architects, engineers, consultants and sub-contractors as well as liaise with the internal planning, surveying, construction, commercial and sales teams to collate and maintain the Technical Specifications.
Providing information to facilitate the secure discharge of the planning conditions to the planning team, while liaising with the Land & Planning team to ensure all work is prioritised and tracked accordingly, along with assisting the infrastructure technical team specifically for the Infrastructure and site wide aspects, these will include Services, Civil and Landscape and coordinating with the 'residential' technical teams for the individual blocks, will draw in your vast multi-tasking and prioritising ability's gain through your time working in a busy fast paced environment.
You will work closely with the commercial and build teams to maintain the close collaborative team spirit that already exists on site while working closely with your line manager to ensure that they are aware of all live key issues with regular updates, this will require you to attend Design Team Meetings and workshops and provide sustainability information to Sustainability Manager.
