As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for leading major R&D and consultancy projects in Electric Vehicle (EV) recharging systems and V2G technologies.

Projects will predominantly focus on providing strategic advice on EV infrastructure planning and roll-out, as well as managing or supporting research projects examining emerging technologies such as vehicle-to-grid and inductive wireless charging.

Using your knowledge, you will work with the client to understand their needs and develop project proposals, deliver consultancy projects, typically providing technical and strategic advice to roll-out EV infrastructure.

You will also support the business in developing and writing technical papers, reports and presentations on projects to support market studies and forecasts to Government.

Additionally, you will support the business development team in new bids and tenders to develop new products and services in low-carbon vehicle infrastructure to exploit learning from projects.

The successful candidate At least 2 years of relevant EV infrastructure/energy sector experience project management background with a relevant degree and can grasp, analyse, interpret and summarise complex technical information.

Demonstrate a genuine passion for infrastructure requirements for low emission vehicles, particularly electric vehicles, and an interest in the road-map for future development.

You will be a proven self-starter and capable of working unsupervised, confident presenting project results and test cases to businesses at board level and be comfortable speaking at conferences.
