Town Planning Assistant Required - West London
You will hold a RTPI accredited degree with at least 3 years post graduate experience and be working towards your RTPI Chartership.
As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be working as part of a wider integrated team, the role will involve working across technical functions to prepare and deliver the planning consents, consultations and approvals needed to support the businesses capital investment plan and longer-term expansion.
Part and parcel of the role will include providing advice, carrying out research, stakeholder engagement, working with suppliers and consultants, preparing and reviewing planning and technical documentation, and monitoring and responding to emerging planning policy.
Assisting with the preparation of planning related submissions (applications and submissions under permitted development powers), carrying out background research into sites, development proposals and technical matters, while monitoring and reviewing emerging planning and infrastructure policies and strategies and third party planning applications and proposals will be second nature to you.
A Key part of this role will mean you supporting planning managers in key tasks to develop the skills and experience to take on delivery responsibilities in line with a professional development plan, you will also have a basic understanding of the 2008 Planning Act and infrastructure planning.
In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £31,500 depending on experience.
