Due to continued growth within a sector that remains relatively unaffected by the global pandemic there is a exciting opportunity for Toxicologists of all levels of experience, working to provide independent and authoritative advice on chemical risk to regulators, water companies and industry.
As a toxicologist you will be providing advice during chemical spills and emergencies, undertaking environmental and human health risk assessments, and helping companies comply with their regulatory requirements.
You will focus on developing client solutions with opportunities to contribute to commercial work winning and business development.
As a toxicologist you will rely on your knowledge and passion in equal measure, while demonstrating a real passion for working with a global client base to solve technically difficult problems. This role will involve extensive interaction with a team of fellow human health experts, ecotoxicologists, and chemists as well as working alongside other environmental and engineering disciplines across the business.
You will have a minimum of two years of experience in delivering successful projects, preferably some in a consulting environment, with a deep understanding of the link to commercial success. You'll hold a post-graduate qualification in Toxicology, Ideally an MSc or PhD qualification.
Drawing on your knowledge toxicology you will be resposiiable for assessing mammalian toxicology study data. Any ecotoxicology knowledge you may have will be advantageous, but not required. Along with your strong IT skills, ideally with knowledge of ECHA REACH, QSAR and exposure modelling, you will demonstrate provision of strong commercial and delivery awareness, contributing to developing strong teams and building trusted client relationships to affect change.
Any experience of working in the water sector / public health would be beneficial.
