As an experienced wind turbine technician, you will resolve ongoing issues and/or implement improvements. Traveling within the Northern Ireland depending on project needs is required.
Use your Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification (Min level 3 NVQ) and technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, you will use your analytical fault-finding capabilities for Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic systems.
You will be responsible for preparing Risk Assessments, Method statements to a high level of Health, Safety, Quality and environmental awareness and have experience coordinating subcontractors. H&S Awareness (RA, CoSSH, MS) and WTSR.
Regularly support the team in Gearbox inspections, Analytical fault finding and Blade repair using vibration analysis, Ultra sound, bore scope and thermal imaging.
Working to resolve onsite technical issues and implement technical improvements, coordinate component replacements, identify and specify tooling requirements, conduct technical auditing / assessments.
You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications for the preparation of reporting templates and other technical documentation and developing and delivering specific in house technical training.
