My client is currently recruiting for an Apple Support Engineer / Technician (minimum of two years experience) to join the team, based in Surrey.


This is an exciting and dynamic role for the successful applicant especially someone looking to expand into being a field engineer. You will also be provided Apple training as well as gaining further Apple Accreditation.


Responsibilities & Support Duties

  • Perform onsite Installations & Maintenance visits to our existing and new clients
  • Respond to end user requests regarding desktop and software application incidents, prioritising
  • request and working to deadlines via our help desk and remote support
  • Windows Support – Managing and maintaining the existing windows desktops and servers
  • Facilitate repairs to faulty hardware including liaising with suppliers / engineers and initiating short term solutions where required.
  • Deploy new Apple / Windows workstations
  • To offer proactive end user service in order to minimise downtime
  • Managing support tickets for our clients
  • Working on site providing client support and trouble shooting
  • Support of Kerio Mail Server & backup solutions (Training provided)
  • Installations and troubleshooting of network / wifi / internet technologies (Training provided)

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Essential Experience & Skills

  • Apple Mac Client and Server
  • iOS Management
  • Experience with LAN / WAN and Wifi Networks
  • Flexible approach to changing workload priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving License – Clean

Desirable Experience

  • Windows Server 2008 Support onwards
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Windows 7 Client onwards
  • Basic Apple Command line experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Application’s
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Experience of user training

Required experience

  • Apple ACMT (Apple Certified Macintosh Technician)
  •  IT Technician: 2 years with Apple Macs within the UK
Successful applicants are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory employment references.
In addition to the basic salary, you will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, Apple Macbook and Apple iPhone for work purposes.
