We are looking for an Associate Transport Engineer to join a vibrant and forward thinking consultancy with offices across the UK. This role is based in Birmingham and requires a Transport Engineer with a background in Highways design.
·Involvement in transport assessments, travel plans and statements.
·Daily use of specialist design software and CAD for submissions of designs for approval, meeting deadlines.
·Liaison with clients, regulatory bodies there is lots of stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
·Attending site visits, meetings and public consultations.
·Working with best practice and compliance in mind.
The successful candidate will have:
·Relevant degree / Post grad in relevant subject (Engineering, Transport Planning, Geography, Maths).
·Membership or working towards Chartership of Institution of Highways & Transportation or similar.
·Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other specialist software.
·Good team player with initiative and ability to work independently or within a team.
