My client is a growing Civil Engineering Contractor with offices throughout the UK. They work within a variety of sectors including highways, rail infrastructure, airports, RC structures, water and environmental.
Due to company growth and the success of their Rail Division, they are now looking to recruit a Bid Manager to help take them to the next level and increase the value of projects or tenders. Projects will predominantly be within the rail infrastructure sector, so it is essential that you have experience of working within the rail sector in a similar positon.
As the successful candidate, you will be working closely with the established Estimating team and over time, developing and growing your own Bid team. You will have extensive experience of managing bid production, bid strategy bid program and bid budget. You will have the personal leadership skills to drive collaboration within the business. The ideal candidate will come from an Estimating background but this is not essential as it will depend on experience.
