Business Development Manager

A specialist developer of small to medium scale wind turbines and commercial solar pv arrays are looking for a Business development Manager.
The company has built a reputation for delivering high quality installations to owner-occupiers in the agricultural and industrial sectors and wishes to expand its services into the provision of renewable energy developments in the commercial property leasehold and investment marketplace.


  • Promote the company in the commercial and industrial property sectors
  • Develop the marketing of the Solar pv offering to gain strong customer growth in the local area
  • Draw up and promote investment models for solar pv
  • Execute site surveys and provide reports on the suitability of sites for renewable energy development
  • Assess and execute deals following thorough due diligence, financial review and preparation of presentation material
  • Provide market research and identify future opportunities for renewable energy development and investment

  • Able to demonstrate business development in the a similar field
  • Previous experience in electrical/mechanical/energy sector sales
  • Good IT skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Familiarity with industry and an enthusiasm to develop knowledge in the field
  • Tenacity, flexibility, ambition, commitment and enthusiasm
