We are seeking to appoint a Business Manager into an exciting and expanding organisation. Reporting into the Business Development Manager you will play a key role in the development of the business for the group both locally and globally. You will develop an understanding of customers needs, the market and opportunities. To achieve target revenue and conversion rates and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve individual business objectives in terms of revenue, conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain a business plan.
Maintain a portfolio of opportunities and forecast to meet objectives.
Proactively promote the capabilities of the group globally for all services including testing, inspection, auditing and associated services.
Work closely with the Business Development Team and the relevant departments.
Follow through all enquiries and provide feedback on leads given.
Issue a visit report following all relevant client meetings and provide a monthly summary of activity.
Research and prepare proposals for clients. Follow through and ensure acceptance of all proposals presented.
Ensure efficient and cost effective planning of all activities.
Perform duties as requested by the Business Development Manager.
The role can be home based as long as you are prepared the travel once per month the centralised office location for meetings.
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience of selling consumer goods to large retail companies.
You will be a creative thinker and have a strong ability to problem solve and work fluidly.
