Development Viability Director
A unique opportunity has arisen with an entrepreneurial planning and development consultancy based in central London. Due to their forward thinking ideology and continued success they are looking to develop their viability offering by making a strategic hire in a Development Viability Director to spear-head this exciting venture.
The role of Development Viability Director:
The Development Viability Director will be responsible for working on behalf of the business' developer, house builder and land owner clients, assessing the viability of future projects, to ensure the best outcomes will be delivered for the developer, community and local authority from the conception through to completion. You will ensure that the interests of the developers is at the forefront of viability negotiations, delivering expert advice to clients of potential risks throughout the planning stages. You will work across affordable housing, retail, residential, commercial and mixed use schemes.
- A thorough understanding of development appraisals
- Good understanding of the complexities of the initial stages of project developments
- Experience negotiating section 106 would be beneficial
- Experience of project management, town planning and/or banking
- Experience of applying technical expertise within a planning context
