Associate Environmental Planner
We are very pleased to be working exclusively with a leading consultancy in the Northwest whose specialism lies in providing environmental, community engagement, and planning related services across a broad range of sectors for large scale, high profile development projects.
As part of their growth strategy, our client is looking to make a senior level appointment to help lead and grow their environmental planning offering.
The role of Associate Environmental Planner has three main functions;
- Client facing – You will be tapping into the existing portfolio of clients – a high caliber and loyal list, as well as expanding that portfolio and developing new business and new contacts. You will have the opportunity to explore new offerings to sit under the environmental planning banner, to better service your clients and projects. You will have the support of the wider business, while maintaining some autonomy to grow and develop this team and offering, making it a successful and highly profitable part of the business.
- Team Leader – You will take responsibility for a young and dynamic existing team of four. You will look to grow this team, doubling it in the next few years. You may not be a manager at the moment, but have a desire to move up in your career and take on this challenge, and have the potential to lead and motivate colleagues.
- Technical Capability – As a competent and technically capable environmental planning professional, you will use this knowledge to both sell and then subsequently successfully deliver these services. You are extremely experienced in environmental consents as related to obtaining planning permissions for large scale projects across residential, commercial, mixed use, and retail.
In return you will be joining a young, supportive, and forward thinking company who have a strong desire for all of their employees to thrive and succeed. On offer is a very competitive basic salary, as well as a generous bonus scheme where hard work is strongly rewarded. In addition, this is a privately owned organisation so there is loads of flexibility and scope to grow and progress.
