Allen & York are currently recruiting for an experienced General Manager Facilities Manager to work for a successful and well established Emirati holding company in the UAE.
A new requirement for a General Manager to lead one of our ventures, a facilities and fit-out company. This role would suit an internationally experienced facilities professional with a hands-on approach in leadership
The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business including the business development plan and strategic direction of the business.
Accountable for the profit and loss and the role will focus on building the business, with both domestic and commercial clients.
Responsible for running the scheduling and quality control of the workforce.
Highly experienced in all areas of facilities management, including fit outs
Excellent project management skills
Demonstrable success of business development, with a minimum of 5 years' experience, within the Middle East
Thorough knowledge of the cultural and business etiquette in the UAE, and the broader GCC region
Extensive knowledge of the facilities market, in the Middle East
English speaking is essential
Strong business sense and clear strategic vision
Background/working knowledge of Trades electrician, painter, plasterer etc.
