As a Geotechnical Engineer you will be responsible for providing geotechnical input into the assessment, design and management of ground engineering projects. The role will focus on undertaking ground investigations, factual and interpretative reporting, geotechnical modelling and the preparation of geotechnical design reports and geotechnical feedback reports. Whilst your key skills will lie in geotechnics, familiarity with geo-environmental issues is desirable.
You will hold a BEng or higher technical qualification and be working towards Chartered Engineer/Geologist status. You will also have several years of relevant experience, ideally gained in ground investigation, interpretation and reporting.
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with good analysis and a high standard of competence in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Word. Experience of geotechnical assessment and modelling would be desirable.
