Graduate Planner
£18,000 - £25,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Planner to join one of the brightest stars in the Planning sector, recognized internationally for the great work that they do for the private and public sectors over the last 20 years. As an independent consultancy, they recognize the importance of design in securing planning permission and expressing a development vision to local communities and other stakeholders. Above all, they understand Planning is increasingly complicated and the strategy for each site must be bespoke.

As a Planner joining their well-established Planning Team based in Manchester, you will develop a good appreciation of design and identifying and implementing detailed and complex planning and communications strategies to unlock value, based upon an understanding of local corporate, community and political objectives. They focus on a broad and interesting client base, working in areas such as residential, commercial, regeneration, energy and infrastructure.

As a Junior Planner you will;
Be assisting on both large and small projects in a range of planning disciplines
Assisting with the drafting planning statements, design and access statements and submitting planning applications.
Preparing local plan representations and undertaking background research for clients.
Liaising with stakeholders and undertaking local consultations.
You will work on projects throughout the UK and you must be prepared to travel. A current driving license would be beneficial (although not essential). You will meet a diverse range of people, including landowners, public and private sectors professionals, local politicians and residents and be expected to act professionally at all times.
