Reduce, re-use and recycle in a newly created Health & Safety Officer role with this family run waste management business. This is a hands-on role where you will be kept busy working between sites in Hampshire and Surrey.
Your focus is to maintain H&S compliance and therefore understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 would be preferred. Tasks include risk assessments, preparing for audits and ensuring safe systems of work. You will work across the organisation, with staff at all levels and be held responsible for raising the profile for H&S and reducing risk.
As a stand-alone role, you should have Nebosh certification and a background within waste. There is a good salary, benefits package and use of a company vehicle.
