Our client is a specialist consultancy working closely with a range of clients from local authorities and government bodies to SME's and multi-national companies, as well as NFP organisations and community groups.
The majority of the company's work is related to materials resource efficiency, particularly business models, operational optimisation and data gathering around waste prevention, re-use and recycling. They also support organisations in understanding what the circular economy means to their business.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to join the organisation in a new senior position to take responsibility for the commercial management and delivery work within the business. The role will have a key input into the delivery of the business plan and will be responsible for setting strategies to ensure company targets and business objectives are met.
Reporting to the CEO this role is essentially a new function within the business to manage and lead the technical function internally and ensure performance targets are met but also will have a client facing role which will involve meeting client needs and maximising opportunities.
Candidates will need to have operated at a senior level within waste services or the consultancy arena and have a proven track record of managing teams and strategically influencing organisations.
You will also need strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively across all mediums with the ability affect change where required throughout the business.
Candidates will be of graduate calibre and have over 5 years working in a senior management position. It is likely that you will hold membership of a relevant body such as CIWM, IEMA.
