Allen and York are delighted to be working with a leading consultancy in Health and Risk Management, who are seeking a NEBOSH qualified Fire, Health and Safety Consultant

Location - Leeds or Manchester

Salary - up to £33,000 plus car or allowance

Key Responsibilities of the Fire, Health and Safety Consultant
To provide direct support to clients Health, Safety & Fire Manager in all areas of the health and safety management system
To maintain and develop established business relationships with clients, through development of business opportunities and effective management of client portfolios
To act as a source of technical expertise and knowledge to clients and colleagues
To carry out risk assessments, premises and operational audits for clients and produce detailed reports of health, safety and fire findings, defects and improvement opportunities, undertaking and reporting on actions
To investigate and report to clients on incidents, providing whatever advice is appropriate to prevent a recurrence of the incident

Required Skills and Qualifications
You will have a formal qualification in Health and Safety at Work and Fire Safety including either:
Hold Grad IOSH or equivalent as a minimum
Must have fire safety experience and hold NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent
Must have a minimum of three years' experience and application of technical knowledge in the field of Health and Safety at Work and Fire Safety
The role is field based so flexibility and the ability to work under your own initiative is key, but you should also be comfortable working as part of a team.
