International Project Manager Smart Grids
Based in London with some International travel
Circa £45,000 - £50,000
Are you an Electrical Engineer who has experience with management of large projects?
Do you have experience in and an interest in demand response and Smart Grids?
Then this is the role for you.
We are looking for an International Project Manager, who has a background in Electrical Engineering, and experience with Controls and Automation.
It is essential that the successful candidate have demonstrable proof of programme implementation and management.
About the Role
This role will be based in London, but will have some International/European travel in order to project manage programmes, installations and commissioning engineers for clients in many different sectors.
The International Project Manager will be responsible for projects from start to finish and will be accountable for successful completion.
As Project manager you will coordinate all aspects of the projects including business development, technology, customers and technical teams.
- It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- A degree in Electrical engineering
- Demonstrable proof of project management
- In the field experience of Building Management Systems (BMS) or controls and automation
- Good background knowledge of energy systems
- Experience of installation and commissioning of Low Voltage and High Voltage projects
Ideally candidates will also have a good understanding of demand response systems and schemes.
It is essential that candidates are fluent in English, but it would be very good to have a second European language, such as French or German. Ideally you will have had some International or European experience. It would also be ideal to have a formal Project Management qualification.
