Our client is a world leading waste re-processor who are developing new and innovative technologies to help reduce use of landfill and create a carbon neutral environment.
This is a brand new hands on role in this exciting period of development for the company and they are building a new facility to accommodate continuous growth and customer demand. Production is scheduled for start-up in Q4 this year and therefore need to have the necessary work force in place prior to this date.
The purpose of this role is ensure that the day to day maintenance of the production plant is completed working closely with the production teams and contractors. The role will require candidates to have an in depth understanding of the processes and machinery on site and ensure that any potential downtime is minimised through stock levels of spares being maintained.
The role will also include performing a regular timetable and schedule of maintenance activities, daily, weekly and monthly.
Candidates should have a proven track record of working in a maintenance environment, be hands on, not afraid to get involved and have the ability to fault find and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
It is likely candidates will come from an aggregates, concrete or waste (Efw) environment.
The role will based on a 40 hour week and will be on a split shift arrangement but candidates should be flexible within the requirements of the site which is operating 24/7.
