Allen & York are working with are the world market leader in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operation & maintenance of large scale solar photovoltaic projects who manufacture high quality, bankable, cost effective solar farms characterized by some of the highest energy yields in the industry, reliable operation and low raw material consumption..

This is a new role, created to support the increased work demands of the O&M team who will be responsible for planning and scheduling of O&M work on project sites, allocate work, procure material and liaise with sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling of O&M works to enable the optimum performance of installations
  • Allocation of resources to enable swift and effective responses to faults
  • Collaboration with external contractors and site staff
  • Preparing Risk assessments and method statements for planned works
  • Cost optimization
  • Procurement of necessary equipment
  • Quality control of concluded works and continuous improvement in the quality of O&M tasks
  • Regular reporting to the O&M Manager and wider team
  • Use of Salesforce [CRM] platform
  • Interaction with the land owners
  • Interaction with the DNO/energy supplier/meter operators
  • Control of spare parts stocks
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy


  • Engineering [Electrical or other ] degree or equivalent level of qualification is required
  • Previous experience in an O&M team or project management is highly desirable
  • Previous knowledge of PV systems is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of H & S regulations related to electrical works, experience of writing RAMS
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification is highly desirable
  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form
  • Eager to learn, self-driven, focused and results oriented
  • Innovative with sound judgement and solutions driven
  • The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
  • Computer literate. Clean driving license
  • Flexible approach this role may require some weekend work or staying overnight
