Our client a global organization is seeking an occupation health and wellbeing manager for their UK sites.
This role will work closely with the Global Head of H&S and will be covering all areas of the business and does not sit solely with one business unit or function.
The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for the management of workload and pressure in the business and mechanisms to reduce the negative effects of doing this poorly on employees health. You will also be responsible for the management (reporting, recording, analysis and intervention) of sickness absence, and the provision of health services medical, occupational and pro active wellbeing to employees. You will develop/run or source facilitators to run focus groups within the organization (these may be remote / WebEx based). You will benchmark report against similar organizations. You will be responsible for Development of an organizational plan which will include and cover - Resourcing requirements, Service delivery model (sickness absence and medical / health services provision and Long term business strategy integration. As ideal candidate you will have;

Experience of developing, implementing occupation health and wellbeing programs, ideally within multinational or similar large and complex environments
Experience working on a global or regional scale
Strong project management skills and experience
A professional background in health or health and safety management
Experience of co-coordinating and influencing decision makers in a matrix organization
Capable of delivering strategic proposals and plans
Experience and interest in the use of technology to facilitate effective implementation
