We are seeking to appoint an Operations Planner with experience of organising field staff routes and schedules efficiently and productively. You will have sound geographical knowledge and therefore an ability to realistically manage field resource in line with contract delivery timescales and processes. They will build strong working relationships with the field engineers and will support them on a day to day basis.
Duties to include;
Organise and be accountable for planning across multi-functional field activity services efficiently and productively
Report and track weekly progress of planned and completed work
Assist contract manager in ensuring resources are available to effectively manage all expected trends of activity and meet all targets
Prepare periodic report, statistics, and answers to enquiries concerning the contract
Support and service the client and ensure all agreed client and internal KPIs are met or exceeded
Build strong relations with stakeholders both internal and external to the department.
Participate in and promote the internal feedback process to actively seek and offer feedback in order to achieve continues improvement
Have demonstrable experience in successful operations' scheduling, ideally within a utility environment
Possess basic numeracy skills, to GCSE standard or equivalent
Computer literacy and advanced excel tools
Excellent in depth knowledge of workforce management forecasting and scheduling processes
Strong focus on data quality and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong focus on data quality and accuracy associated with report building, development and production.
Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing, within all levels of the business and to external parties such as the client and their customers
