Our client is a leading global consulting firm.
They work with governments, regulators, regulated market administrators, energy providers, energy investors, and lawyers to address energy policy, regulation, regulated market, and energy economic issues.
Their Energy Practice in the UK is now looking for a talented energy economist with strong project management skills to support their current client base and impressive growth strategy.
You will already have strong consulting experience, as well as team focus, excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
You will have a background in European electricity (and gas) markets together with an excellent academic record, to Master level. These skills will be underpinned with exceptional analytical capabilities in the following areas:
- Economic Modelling: expertise in developing complex models on large data sets using a range of modelling techniques, from deterministic to stochastic analysis;
- Energy Markets and Regulation: expertise in UK/European electricity (and gas) markets and regulation with a thorough understanding of the electricity value chain;
- Project Management: strong project management skills, demonstrating the capacity to lead teams and provide solutions in order to support business development activities.
As a Principal Consultant you will be involved in a variety of projects. Your role will involve taking assignment manager responsibility and deliver advice to clients based on your insight underpinned by sound economic analysis.
As a member of this practice, you can expect to consult to a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Europe. You will also be expected to support business development and growth of the firm. Based from their head office in London you should also expect to travel and work on client sites and you should have the unconditional right to work globally.
