Our client is looking to recruit a Principal Town Planner to support its growing workload.
They are looking for an MRTPI qualified Town Planner with 5-10 years' experience who will work in conjunction with senior staff and on their own and engage in a range of development plan/policy and development management projects. The post will provide opportunities for EiP and public inquiry work.
The position will also include managing external consultants and mentoring junior staff and offers a high degree of client interface and networking.
Candidates should be able to manage competing demands on their time and prioritise tasks for themselves and others. Candidates will have a flexible attitude towards working, be self-motivated and have a good team working ethic, be self-assured and confident, and enjoy the prospect of developing their own client base and making a real contribution to the prosperity of the Company and themselves.
There are opportunities for advancement within the Practice to shareholder level. There is a staff mentoring programme to encourage this and further, tailored training.
