Our client is a National Training Provider. They are looking to recruit a Regional Placement Consultant to cover Manchester.
Purpose of Role
 To identify and then engage with appropriate employers to promote apprenticeships and other training courses, incorporating both Government and privately/commercially funded courses, including the promotion of 24+ loans where appropriate
 To generate quality new starts on to appropriate apprenticeship programmes in line with regional LDC capacity whilst ensuring all eligibility criteria is met
 Find suitable work based learners and corresponding apprenticeship vacancies via telephone through cold calling and warm calling leads
 Proactively drive and meet the minimum performance criteria (MPC) around productivity as specified in the Business Development Training Manual
 To actively promote the company recruitment service to employers for the engagement of 16-18 year olds to fill vacancies
 To ensure application forms and initial assessments are sent to potential candidates and then collated and checked for completeness prior to sending on to Operations Managers and Admin
Key Responsibilities of the Role
 Carry out the required productivity (MPC) based activities to source new starts each month i.e. cold calls and telemarketing for new business focused around vacancy generation.
 Make visits to potential customers as necessary
 Follow up leads in a timely fashion
 Tracking trends and escalating to the Business Development Co-Ordinator to inform sales tracker (CRM) and activity plan
 Manage our key accounts
 Engage with employers to find work-based learners
 Advertise vacancies on vacancy matching websites
 Shortlist candidates against vacancies
 Maintain/build relationship with schools, connexions and other stakeholders to obtain learners
 Interview learners and assess suitability for position/vocation
 Organise suitable interview dates etc. with employer/learner
 Answer queries from employers and learners
 Assist learners with job searching
 Visit identified employers throughout the year as directed to undertake a sales and customer service visit
 Attend career fairs and school visits as agreed/required
 Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure the effective performance and delivery against targets
Essential Criteria Required
 2 years at minimum experience in a telesales or recruitment environment
 Strong track record of working to and achieving sales targets
 Sound Commercial Knowledge
 Excellent communication skills
 Planning and organisational skills
 Strong time management skills
 IT Literate
 Clean driving licence and access to a car
